This is the first sunny day we have seen in two months, so we are camera happy!

If you zoom in, you can see the white cranes that live in the rice paddies. They are in the muddy water area of the picture.

Caraboa love to wallow in the mud, but it does nothing for their hair!

This is an elementary school.

It is so funny that Sister Pasi from Hawaii, is serving in this area. She has a school named after her! LOL

This is one of the largest bamboo and coconut bahays we've seen.

I have always thought that this is a very clean and organized bahay.

I like how they painted the bamboo fence red. Fences and bushes are always used to hang laundry on.

Wash day. Last time we came by here, there was no tarp covering. They are moving up!

This is Anna and Tocia. The have 3 children and they have had this business for 23 years.

They make bibingka. It is a rice cake with buko (young fresh coconut). It is very good and always very hot. It is light and spongy. It costs 10P a piece or about .18. It is about as big as our hand. They use charcoal and create a small oven with two cookers. This is how about 90% of the people cook over here. They have made enough money to build a cinder block house for their family. We always stop here and buy some for the missionaries and us too, of course. This time we gave them a Book of Mormon and a couple of pamphlets.

We followed this jeepney. Even as full as it is now, they still added people along the way! The name of this jeepney is "Center of Attraction"
