We use this quote a lot as we teach or talk about tithing.

Here are our two Sisters who taught Steve.

Today we attended another baptism in a different area.

This is Steve. He sure is big for a Filipino. Two of our Sister missionaries taught him. He asked Elder Ganir to baptise him. He was so excited and ready to do this. Elder Ganir was happy also.

Everyone wanted to be in the picture.

We also attended a baptism of two wonderful women.

Of course we were invited at the last minute to share a few words at the baptism. It was such a pleasure to speak. Elder Lerio is going home in three weeks.

Now the rain is done and this area has drained. This is what it ususally looks like.

When we have thunder and lightening, it sounds like a war zone. I have never in my entire life heard thunder and lightening be as loud as it is here. I even smell smoke in the air. I swear that we or our neighbors are going to be struck by lightening.

When it rains, it sometimes is really extreme.

Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day.

We went to a stake missionary correlation meeting on Saturday. It was raining so hard. We parked close to the entrance and we had a big umbrella. But, I still got completely soaked shoes and skirt just going into the church. Some chapels over here have open court yards, so when it rains the water will go into this fountain like area and fill up and then drain. That way the church doesn't flood. Smart (magaling).
