Happy Birthday MOM & GRANDMA!!

We just want to wish you a HAPPY and WONDERFUL birthday.
We're thinking of you and hope it's a good one. I'll put an
extra candle on my cake for you mom. (But just one, because there
isn't room for 58! Ha! Ha! Sorry for revealing your age.)

Love, Marc, April, Kael, & Aliyah

Running road

There is a running road large enough for a car. It is paved and it goes all the way around this lake. The traps in the lake are for Talapia farming. There are seven lakes in San Pablo. Since this is accessed in the back of the Stake Center, church members have walking activities. I wish we lived close by, but we don't.

This is the amazing view from the back parking lot of the new stake center.

Art made from garbage!

We went to an open house for a huge new chapel in San Pablo. The chapel will seat 1000 people. This is the Relief Society room where some items were on display. These vases and containers are all made of poster board packaging material used for food or other groceries items. It might just be the top poster board stapled to a cellophane bag of candy. It is folded and pieced together, then varnished. They are amazingly strong. I was impressed. The Filipino culture uses everything. They do not waste anything. They even make art out of garbage.
