Josephine in the center was baptised today. She is 19 years old.

Sister Mordwino is from San Jose, CA and is serving in San Jose, Batangas Philippines. Her cute companion is Sister Castilo.

The truck to the right of the goat truck was a pig truck (in front of us). The hind end of these trucks are NOT the place to be, ever!

We had to park our truck behind this truck full of goats. Every once in awhile a goat would poke it's head out and look at us.

We weren't sure if this truck (overload) was going to clear the ramp onto the ferry.

We took the elders for lunch.

This is Elder Scow and Elder Balcita. They are the Zone Leaders for Mindoro. Brother Figuracion (Elder Figuracion just four weeks ago) finished his mission in our San Pablo mission, went home and got a job teaching English to Koreans, which brought him here to Mindoro. Of course, cute Elder Ganir is loving his Mango shake too.

Today we had to drive one of the mission trucks onto a ferry to go to an island to deliver some items for a missionary apartment. We are going to be putting two more elders, making a foursome, in Calapan Mindoro.

School uniforms are so modest.

And onto the truck it goes.

The cost of rice has doubled since we got here. This fellow is lucky to make enough money all day at this hard labor to feed his family enough rice for dinner.
