Our three week electrical problem back fired after it was fixed.

This is our water heater in our shower so we can have hot water. It is about 12 inches tall. It is plugged into a circut breaker that the electrcian installed just a few hours ago. Aftere screaming and jumping out of the shower when I saw fire and smoke, this is what it did.
A tender mercy happened, when the electrician came the next day (miracle in itself) he said the cord was too small. We have used it for seven months? Anyway, Elder Ganir found a cord with a plug that was larger, in our spare room. The electrician replaced the cord and the tender mercy is that it worked and we didn't have to replace the water heater at a cost of 7000 pesos which is about $190.

This is the creepist, biggest spider we have ever had in our apartment. He's GONE now.

The sun is always so bright!

I have a hard time keeping my eyes open for a picture. My sensitive blue eyes are always watering because is so bright here with tons of smoke and pollution that fills the air. Most people don't have stoves, so they cook over an open flame and burn their trash. With millions of people doing that everyday, you can imagine the smoke filled air as you see in the sun rays behind me.

This is another couple that we went with. This is how we sat in our canoe.

Sorry we don't have a picture of us in our canoe.

Sorry for the water spots on the camera.

As you can see we were completely wet from head to toe. We didn't go swimming! But we really got pounded by the falls. It was fun!

The people on the bamboo raft were ahead of us.

They are going to go out right under the pounding falls and then so are we. The water was not cold.

We went thru the falls in to a cave behind the falls.

We laughed all the way to the falls.
